This weekly support group offers support to youth who are displaying aggressive behavior through fighting, violent outbursts, and other displays of aggression. The participants of this program are given the necessary tools for managing behavior by recognizing the source of anger and are made aware that anger is a normal emotion that can be managed.
Through the program, participants are introduced to the three ways of expressing anger: aggressiveness, passiveness, and assertiveness.
The participants are instructed on recognizing and understanding consequences of out of control anger, as well as the reward of managing anger.
